Look up multitasking in the dictionary, and you would see a picture of me calming one child, disciplining a second, and listening to a third, all during attendance, the first five minutes of the day. I wouldn't have it any other way! I love teaching PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities)!
My group ranges in various disabilities, in a low-income community.
As a teacher in a high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. To combat the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
In this much needed Donorschoose.org project I am asking for two black ink cartridges for our classroom printer. One of the challenges that I face as a special education is that I facilitate IEP meetings monthly if not weekly. The information presented in those meetings goes both to the parents and in the students audit folder and we go through ink constantly. Without ink it would be difficult to get any if not all important documents to the students, parents and staff in a timely manner and I take pride in being able to have been able to have done this so far.
