My Students

Help us find our way out of book chaos! My students love to read the books in our classroom library, but they hate how unorganized it is! My students need bookcases and book bins so that our books can be stored somewhere appropriate.

My third grade students are eager to read!

We spend the first 15 minutes of every morning doing D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) time. Each morning my students come into our classroom and go straight to the library. They have a hard time finding appropriate books due to the ill fitting book storage we are currently using. Please help my eager readers!

My Project

I have selected two double shelves from Lakeshore Learning. These shelves and book bins will provide my students with an appropriate storage space for our books. Our books are currently on a small bookshelf in bins that are not made for books and restrict the students' access to the books. With this new book storage, my students will have easy access to our library. They will spend less time searching and more time reading.

Please donate to our project so that we can have a functional classroom library.

Our library is a place where students can read for enjoyment, and with these materials, they would have more time to do just that.
