Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The kids in our school love to read, but we don't have the books they need. Help us get exciting books in their hands they can't put down! Most of my students (90%) live far below the poverty line. This makes the job of a school even more important.

The students we teach are experiencing poverty, but that's just where they are starting.

They have big dreams, but they need to work hard now. They want to become scientists, artists, and mathematicians. Help them reach for those dreams!

My Project

The kids in my class are just beginning to become real readers. This is an important moment-- an opportunity to open them up to the wonderful world of reading!

By putting high-quality literature in my students' hands now, we can spark a love of reading for the rest of their lives.

I have chosen amazing books that my students will love like books about their favorite dog character, Biscuit, and a cute cat named Mittens. These titles are engaging and the stories are meaningful for my students. Kids wont be able to put the books down! Every single child will be able to enjoy these stories... but only with your help! Thank you for making a difference for my students.
