Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing and really want to learn as much as we are wanting to teach them! My students are around 11 and 12 years old, mostly are from Latin America, and receive free lunch. Our school is huge. We have over 1,000 students, and we lack all major resources. We go from Pre-K to 8th grade, with mono- and bilingual classes. Lastly, we are in the fourth largest city in our state. Thank you for reading about my students!
My Project
We are setting up a donation collection room in our school. We are so lucky to already have a washer and dryer. We really need these cleaning supplies in order to use the machines.
We are collecting a lot of donations from teachers and others, but we had no place to wash everything until recently.
Now we do, but we need cleaning supplies.
We hope to get this room running right away. I hope you're able to donate. If you're not able to donate, please share the link.
