My Students

I teach 3rd/4th grade students who mostly are from low-income families. The support and love they get from school really makes a difference in their lives. We try to teach them to be good citizens and grow into hard working adults that will contribute to society.

They come to school excited to learn and we want to foster that love for learning to help them grow.

Giving them opportunities they might not ever receive if we did not have support from the outside world. Thank you!

My Project

Our school still has the old CRT Tube televisions hanging on the walls in every classroom. We are in desperate need of Smart TVs so that we can keep up with the technology that is advancing every year.

We want to stream videos that correlate to our Common Core Lessons in every subject.

Smart TVs would allow us the opportunity to Skype with schools in other states and work more technology into our lessons. Please help us to get this project started. Every teacher in our building needs this but if we can start with one, I am sure that we could find a way to make a difference one class at a time!
