Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 90% lower income families and are hard-working and dedicated to their studies. They work with whatever device is available to them and sometimes have to share a phone to work with.

Though they are going through some serious issues with the virus right now and the shelter in place order, they seem to find solace in the remote art lessons I give them that help them not only escape to wherever they want but also to come to grips with what is going on.

My Project

The donations will go towards improving the lessons for remote learning with my students. We will have online presentations as well as online critiques where we can showcase the students' artwork and digital photography.

The donations for this project will help improve our class when we have remote interactive online sessions utilizing the newer technologies to teach such as Zoom and Google Meets as well as other software sites to their fullest capabilities.

It will also help to create reference videos students can access online when they need to review a process.
