As a new teacher, I am so excited to bring a love of learning and literature to my students. I feel that passion for learning can be nurtured in everyone, which means education can be fun! The Echo Dot will be used to assist students who struggle to read certain texts as it can read them aloud to the class. It is also a great tool for asking quick questions regarding spelling and grammar rules. The charging station is to help students have access to chargers for their school-issued electronic devices (there are often shortages of chargers as many students forget theirs at home). Pencils, pens, and markers will be used to provide tools for student use and for grading purposes. The highlighted reading strips will assist students who struggle with keeping on track with what they are reading. Harry Potter bookends and Dumbledore quote posters, and Harry Potter Diggoo wall decals are decor to bring a fun atmosphere to the classroom that is centered around literature and imagination. The stackable trays are for students to turn in hard copies of assignments while the wire desk tray organizer is for graded assignments returned to the students. The sticky page markers are to help students mark an important section of a text read in class. Sticky notes will be used for reminders and games.
