Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are in first grade and they all come from a low income area. Knowing the holidays are around the corner, I was hoping for my students to be able to receive something special. My classroom consist of 13 boys and 6 girls.

Most of my students do not get to experience the magic of the holiday.

My wish is that each one of them experience receiving a holiday gift this year... I am asking for each boys to receive a basketball and a doll for my girls. Please help make their holiday a special one.

My Project

Most of my students do not realize or know the magic of the holiday. I would love for my students to be able to receive a special gift this year. I asked for the boys to receive a basketball which would also help them with fitness and the girls to receive a doll that will help them understand how to care and nurture.

Please help my students have the best holiday in which they all deserve... I'm sure getting these gifts will bring the magic in the holiday and a smile on their face that would never be forgotten.
