Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very eager to learn and happy to be at school. I have quite a few students that have been displaced from the hurricanes in Florida, as well as Puerto Rico. These items that we are asking for would be incredibly helpful and beneficial to these students during this rough time. My students have school as an outlet to express themselves in a positive and helpful way. Some of my students consider the classroom as a second home. I would like to use this donation in order to help obtain food, hand sanitzer, tisues, paper towels, cleaning supplies for the students to use to help them complete their class work.
My Project
Throughout the past few months our school has been receiving many students who have been displaced from the hurricanes in Puerto Rico and Florida. These necessary items would really help my students feel comfortable and help them complete their class work as well as their homework. These students are dedicated, hardworking and incredibly positive. They are working their hardest to do the best that they can in school in order to succeed, and get their education. Receiving these care items, such as, hand sanitzer, tisues, paper towels, and cleaning supplies would be a huge help within the class room for the students to feel that they have a way to work on their assignments.
