Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I miss my students so much and feel even worse that they will not be able to receive an education without a laptop. All of my students absolutely love learning. Even though ALL of my students come from a plethora of hardships , the use of these laptops is a powerful tool from them tap into all of the avenues to express and take advantage of their learning. Technology is so prevalent in our lives and it is an extreme necessity for my students especially in this Title I school. All of my students are truly incredible, and so resilient. I am so lucky and thankful to have taught them in person. My first grader deserve the best quality of education to enhance their learning. These are such hard times, and I hope my students do not lose their self confidence because they do not have a laptop to learn. Thank you
My Project
This is a request that I am hoping to fulfill soon because of the urgency of this matter. This is affecting my students NOW and can not wait. Our school ran out of laptops and it's a waiting game but at the cost of my students' education. The fact of the matter is that the majority of my students were already experiencing hardships in their daily lives. 95% of the students at my school receive free and reduced lunch, and these families are now being effected with loss of their jobs due to the Corona Virus. The Chromebooks will be used by students to stay up with their school work during the quarantine.
HELP, HELP, HELP.
Not enough technology to teach remotely. I have three students who do not have laptops during these time of the Corona Virus. PLEASE FUND THESE DEVICES for these 3 students to learn for the rest of the year and future.
