My Project
I am a teacher in a kindergarten classroom in an inner city school. My class is made up of 22 amazing young learners. They are a curious and energetic group of children that come to school eager to learn and explore. We celebrate our differences in this classroom and many of my students are English Language Learners. 100% of our students qualify for free or discounted lunch.
In my classroom, we are looking to provide them with as many hands-on experiences as possible during the school day, and to enrich their educational experience.
In my classroom, I have tried to balance a rigorous academic curriculum and a play-based approach to teaching.
