I have a loving, caring, creative, and fun group of students. They are not afraid to act silly and what I love most of all, they love when I act goofy with them. My students enjoy group work, team building, competitions, and anything that involves music or art.
A huge focus in our room is building a classroom FAMILY.
Every morning, we discuss a new topic on how to be the best person we can be. We look for new ways to become better listeners, leaders, friends, and students.
It truly brings me joy to be around this group of students and their love for learning makes me proud to be a teacher.
My Project
Hello! I am beginning my third year of teaching and would like to build a collection of fun educational resources. Sadly, I do not have any games for my students to play during indoor recess. We currently use the Smart Board to dance. We also color, write stories, or play on the few iPads that we do have in the room. I can also use some of these activities during STEM challenges.
I have found a collection of resources that I know my students will love.
These resources include a LEGO set and K'Nex set for STEM challenges and indoor recess time. There is also a favorite table game set that includes Boggle, Scrabble, and more. These games can be used during reading stations and recess time. Not only will these games provide a fun time for my students, they will also provide an educational learning experience.
