My students are awesome and motivated learners. They enter my Health, Fitness, and Nutrition classroom every day with smiles on their faces. They come from very diverse backgrounds, which makes our learning environment very special. They are polite and kind to each other. We are a rural school in South Carolina with a high poverty rate.
My students are very energetic and do not let their circumstances hinder their learning.
They are excited about learning and are very willing to get the job done.
My Project
Teaching Physical Education without a gym has many limitations. These project will provide a fun way to be physically active while incorporating music. Learning to play the drums while being physically active is a win-win situation for all.
Imagine working to a beat on a drum for 40 minutes while music is blaring causing you to sweat and burn calories at the same time!
Exciting to say the least. This new way is taking the physical education world by storms because students are buying into it and loving it. Remember we all played air drums in our life at one time or another. The fun we had doing it. Now there is a way students can do it and increase their physical active and health while having fun. the 24 Drum and Store drum sets will provide this great opportunity for our students.
The playground balls will add equipment to our playground and outdoor games.
