Help me give my students a leg up on their awards for trivia about building a playground at our school. These awards will inspire students and parents to participate in trivia.
We are a group of exceptional students who have tested into the classroom and work together on multiple projects. The students are middle grade students, in Neenah, WI, who would love to change the world. We come up with ideas to assist others. The students are technologically savvy and enjoy researching and learning. We have a diverse ethnic group, and we are about 2/3 male and 1/3 female. The students will do just about anything for others. We are ready for just about anything.
My Project
Trivia is a great way to captivate young minds. And, through participation, students will be growing the landscape of our school through building the playground The students in charge of this project plan to sharpen skills and abilities when it comes to problem-solving. Awards (extrinsic motivators)! Need more be said?
Hands-on tactile items assist in calming the mind and opening more doors as do coloring books.
Students will benefit from the calming coloring books. They will enjoy making movies with the LEGO people. And, the putty will be a distracter when students are over stimulated. The products were selected with gender and age in mind. Self-esteem will be boosted when a reward is handed out. Each item was chosen for specific reasons. This project limits the amount of technology used...there are so many other ways to motivate!
