Play Workbench and Tools for Language Development

Help me give my students play tools and a workbench for improving their language development.

My Project

My preschool students are working hard to improve their communication skills. My therapy classroom is a structured play-based space with themed learning. I'd like to expand upon our tool area by adding a workbench and more tools.

A workbench and tools would provide my students with new opportunities to expand upon their receptive and expressive language skills.

There are many new vocabulary words, including actions, that can be targeted through this theme. The students would work on following directions, responding to questions, commenting, requesting, and more! Tools are an area of high interest and these resources will be interactive. I can already see the smiles, hear the laughter, and language of the children!

Thank you for supporting my students and my speech/language therapy room. The materials that I have received have helped to greatly improve my preschoolers' language development.
