My Students

Our school is growing year by year. The school is in an area that is experiencing rapid growth, and we have students joining our school daily. My class is made up of 22 second graders who are eager to learn and explore the world around them. They are creative, innovative, curious, and hard working. They love coming to school and learning as much as they can.

My students are at the age where reading is becoming more and more important.

They are beginning to read with true independence and find books and series they love. This is a pivotal time to build a true love and joy for reading in each and every student.

My Project

These games will help my students practice the skills they are learning in both math and language arts. As they learn place value, the dice game will help them practice expanding 3-digits numbers in to hundreds, tens, and ones. This is a vital skill and this game will help reinforce the concepts being taught.

The various language arts games will help students practice with critical foundational skills.

Vowel teams, blends and digraphs, and other skills that will help my students as they learn to decode words can be found in these games. These will allow them to practice important skills in a fun and engaging way.
