Help me give my students more opportunities to learn through play with Magna-Tiles, Log Builders, and a Play kitchen. These items will be used during their center time.
This project expired on December 8, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
This is the first experience of being in school for many of my students. They learn through play and hands-on experiences, and are eager and excited to learn!
Our school suffered a great loss 2 years ago when it flooded during Hurricane Harvey.
We were unable to have school there and were relocated to a nearby church while our school was totally redone. Many of our students and teachers also lost their homes. It was a very challenging year. We are continuing to replenish our classrooms.
These materials will give my students more opportunities to explore and learn during our center time.
They will be able to learn more about the alphabet and strengthen their fine motor skills with the play-doh stampers.
They will build words and make their names with the ink stampers. They will learn about building and creating with the soft blocks and the log builders. They will create masterpieces with the paint dobbers.
My students will also learn social skills as they play at the kitchen center with the play food and dishes. This will also expose them to cooking and taking care of food and dishes.
