Help me give my students a community building set where they can create their own city with buildings, roads and people.

Barack Obama said "Our most important task as a nation is to make sure all our young people can achieve their dreams". My desire as a teacher is to help my students figure out what their dreams are in this moment. Being a preschool teacher can be a challenge as the students are figuring out the rules and where their place is in the world.
My students are filled with wonder of the world around them and come up with new ways to describe what they see.
I want to create an atmosphere where the children are free to dream and free to be themselves. I want to be able to give them new experiences in and out of the classroom. Teaching them not only right from wrong but how to love one another as well.
They love to build, play pretend, draw and play with dolls. We are working on understanding emotions and how our actions can affect the people around us. New toys that expand their creativity, problem solving and imagination would make a difference in their lives.
The block center is one of the most popular centers in the classroom. Unfortunately, the children have become used to toys in the center so they get bored easily. My students love to build and play with the cars in the center. Though they may argue over who gets what car, they love to play together with the road rug. The great part about the community set and unit blocks is that they will be able to work together to create their own community which enhances their communication and social emotional skills with one another. The community set will also allow my students to create their own roads that will lead them to many places.
My desire is to be able to give them unit blocks and other building blocks that will challenge their minds and engage their imaginations.
The water blocks will give them a chance to take their architecture skills off the floor and into the sensory table. The magnetic blocks will help in our science area as we discuss what items are magnetic and non-magnetic. I have many students who love to play with cars, so this will be a great tool for them to build their own cars. Using their imaginations to create their idea of what they want their cars to look like. The train set will be a healthy change from just cars and trucks that they play with. They can separate the trains and work on sharing various pieces amongst themselves.
