Help me give my students opportunities for PLAY! The Pre-K years are about imagination and exploration. The couch will be used in the dramatic play area where the children engage in pretend play through real life experiences.

My Students

My Pre-K students are eager to explore and love to learn interactively and hands-on!

It is always special when you can work with the youngest of hearts and be the first teacher to influence the love of learning in a classroom setting.

In my classroom, our Pre-K students are ready to research, explore and engage in diverse and creative learning experiences that connect them to their real life stories. My four year olds are fun, fast, intense, full of love and ready to expand their learning through literacy and play.

My Project

My Pre-k students have experienced many different opportunities in their short life span. They use these life experience to identify who they are, build confidence and gain independence.

Play is imperative for learning and exploring in a pre-k classroom.

The couch and literacy activities I have chosen will help the children to tell stories, deepen their pretend play, teach creativity and build a love for literacy.

These materials are great for differentiating as we know children learn at different paces! The story boards include favorite children's stories that are interactive in nature. Hands on play experiences are important to cognitive development.
