This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My TK and Kindergarten students love to play and use their hands. One of their favorite sensory materials is play dough! We use play dough to build hand strength and dexterity. This helps prepare students for writing! Unfortunately, our tub of play dough is getting pretty yucky!

Your donation will give us a space to work and enough play dough to last all year!

We will use the play dough to build letters and learn letter formation. Students will form their names and even build short words. The play dough will make learning letters and sounds so much more fun and engaging. The kitchen island will be the perfect workplace for my students. They will love being able to stand as they create!
