My Project

My kindergarten students love using Play-Doh in our classroom. It is a great creative tool, and it really helps with their fine motor skills which furthermore helps with their writing. The squeezing, pinching and pulling movements strengthen their hand muscles.

It's a great way to build those fine motor skills needed for tasks such as pencil grasp, scissor skills, buttoning, zipping and tying shoes.

Playing with Play-Doh builds other skills such as eye-hand coordination, bilateral coordination, and crossing midline.

The creative sets I requested will help encourage their imaginative play, encourage teamwork and will make learning fun.
