Molding play doh to make letters, numbers and words will benefit my kinesthetic learners while building their fine motor skills.
I have 18 bright and eager kindergarten students who have a genuine love of learning.
We are all part of a small charter school environment where achievement is our main goal, but having fun is important too. We are grateful for what we have, but could certainly gain a lot having more learning tools.
My Project
I have a lot of kinesthetic learners who will benefit from learning through touching and molding play doh. We need play doh, letter and number cutters, magnetic letters with cvc task cards and wikki sticks. These materials would be used so that each student has an opportunity to make various academic and creative items such as letters, numbers, high frequency words, shapes, as well as craft projects using their imagination and motor skills!
Donations to this project will encourage skill building in all areas of the classroom.
These materials will help foster their creativity, imagination, and motor skills through molding and making play- doh!
