My Students

Every student in our 5th grade classroom loves learning! It's wonderful to see the different methods and environments in which learning takes place for each individual student. We are creating an environment that meets the needs of all our young learners in a way that allows them to be successful, while still feeling at home. After all, you can't learn if you're not comfortable!

My Project

These play couches will provide our 5th grade students a comfortable place to read, write, and work on academic subjects during periods of work. They also serve a dual purpose though! Since they are versatile, these couches can also be used to play with! Students can utilize them during indoor play times or free periods in the classroom to build forts, towers, and other architectural structures. These specific play couches can also be split up into four different mini couches to allow students to move and spread out across the classroom while still being able to utilize a comfortable area to complete their work.
