My Students

My inclusion preschool class is a place where children with and without disabilities learn and play together. The students with disabilities learn and practice skills with their typically developing peers. We strive to have an inclusive environment where all children feel included and valued. Social skills are practiced through play and interaction. Our goal is to get these students ready for the transition to kindergarten.

My Project

In my inclusion preschool classroom we all learn from each other! My students with disabilities learn from their typical peers through play and interaction. Students learn empathy and compassion as well, working and playing together.

Preschool students learn best through hands on learning and play!

During centers they have time to choose activities that spark their interest, and interact with their peers. The items I have chosen are to provide a variety of learning and play resources for my classroom, to keep the students engaged and learning in a fun way!
