My Students

Learning to read should be fun and what better way to make it fun than be able to play games to learn those basic phonics and literature skills. To use these games as a teaching tool in small groups and centers. Oh, the learning that could happen in those groups!

My students are rambunctious and eager to learn all that they can.

They have such great potential to be a group of fantastic readers. Reading is so important to today's youth and our school is doing everything it can to help our students become better readers.

My Project

My students will use classic and action games to practice spelling, learn phonics patterns, read words, and practice fluency. These games will be introduced as students learn skills in small groups. Then, the games will be placed in centers to be practiced and mastered by the students.

This project will make a difference in my students' lives because it will increase their love for reading.

An increase in a love for reading could open so many possibilities. To instill a love of reading at a young age can make all the difference in a child's world.
