My Students
My talented 6th grade students are enthusiastic learners ready to conquer new skills. They are special because they love collaborating on project based assignments. They deserve to work on tables that are not falling apart.
One hundred percent of the students come from low socioeconomic home environments and school is a safe place where they can thrive.
Students spend a large portion of their day at school and I would like to provide a clean, safe, positive learning environment for them.
My Project
Clean sturdy tables are essential for an effective learning environment. My awesome students are currently working on scratched, dirty tables that wobble when they write.
Students truly deserve to come to a classroom that provides basic learning materials, including a place to read, write and learn.
My students will use the new tables to collaborate, develop and create project based assignments. With new tables, students will be able to produce better work because they'll be able to spread out their materials so they can utilize all their resources. They are grateful for what they have, but they deserve more. My students are highly motivated and would love to have a great work space. I truly believe new tables will provide a positive learning environment.
