This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a new teacher teaching third grade math, science, and social studies to a very diverse group of students who are eager to learn and ready to take on the new year. Some of the students missed out on the classroom experience between March of 2020 and June of 2021 and I want to make the learning process as fun and interactive as possible!

These students are creative, hardworking, and inspiring despite the challenges they have faced the past year and a half.

I learn so much from these students every day and want to provide them the best learning space and experience I can.

My Project

I want to provide a hands on learning experience to my students that they will be able to take with them and experience for a long time. Science, kindness, and caring for plants come together for one amazing learning moment.

The AeroGardens provide an amazing opportunity to witness plant growth with the awesome benefit of being able to share the produce we gather with friends, family, and those in need.

Plant life cycles, caring for plants, and sharing their produce in the end are experiences I would love for my students to be able to participate in.
