This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Motors, sewing projects, and craft supplies are valuable elements of a makerspace. These materials allow for the hands-on creation of STEAM-based projects that tap into creativity and imagination. Our makerspace will benefit from these supplemental materials.

My students are sweet, energetic learners who thrive on experiential learning.

I like to give them as many opportunities as possible to design and bring their creations to life. Cross stitch kits, playdoh, motors, and other craft supplies will take their builds to the next level of development, a 3-dimensional prototype of their 2-dimensional designs.
