I am a fifth grade teacher in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I would like my students to become more organized. Being organized teaches students how to become more responsible. Therefore, my students need daily planners. Planners will help students and parents. Planners will help with important dates, such as Parent Teacher Conferences, projects, holidays, and project due dates. Students will be better prepared when they attend middle school. This will be their first experience with exchanging classes and getting assignments from each class. Planners reinforce math skills. Having student planners will teach them how to use a calendar. In math classes, students are taught how to follow a schedule. Please help my fifth grade students to become more organized by providing them with a daily planner.
