My Students

I teach special education resource for children who need extra help with their academics in math, language arts, and writing. One of my students expressed how he felt about school by saying, "My heart, my heart, school is my heart." My students need extra support with writing, math, language arts, accessing technology, social skills, functional skills, and behavioral skills. My students come to school each day excited and ready to learn. I want to provide them with everything they need to be successful.

My Project

Cards and visual to help student learning fractions and place value with help students learning at home or in the classroom. A writing prompt journal to help keep learning fun and students moving forward with improving their writing skills. I'm also asking for a 3D printer to inspire students to create, and think outside the box. The little squishy are used as a reward for student to help to keep the motivated to keep working and making progress towards their learning goals. The fidgets are for students with anxiety, to help those that the stresses of Covid have been particularly hard on.
