My students are learning 4th grade math, science, and social studies. They are very diversified and have differing needs from English as a Second Language to inclusion to gifted and talented to general education. Currently, there are 26 students, but that number fluctuates a little as people move in and out of our district.
A sweeter, harder working group of children would be difficult to find!
They care for and support each other while pursuing greater academic depth and complexity!
My Project
The modeling clay and cardstock will enhance students' learning of historical Native American culture in the United States. It will also allow them an opportunity to explore their own creative side.
Becoming more knowledgeable of other people's way of life, helps us to understand and accept that there is more than one way to live.
It's not something to be feared, but is interesting and just a little different way of doing things.
The cardstock will be used for several different art projects throughout the year, 3 dimensional geometrical models, and visually creative research displays. A variety of colors and blank white cardstock is needed.
