My students need hands-on learning experiences with coding by using Apple iPads and Osmo Coding Game, to enhance and inspire them in their understanding and use of technology.
Every moment is a learning adventure in kindergarten. All learning is new and exciting. My students have so much fun experiencing every aspect of their day. From learning their letters and numbers to experiencing joy at simple things like recognizing their name for the first time. There is always something exciting happening in kindergarten.

We are working together to build a community of learners with a foundation of kindness and compassion. We are learning core life skills such as share, take turns, clean up after yourself, honesty is the best policy, be respectful, be safe, and be kind.
We are tactile learners, experiencing everything through hands on exploration. When we are able to experience it ourselves first hand, we truly understand.
My Project
My students come to school every day ready to learn. Having technology in my classroom enhances student engagement and encourages even the reluctant learners to participate in our community building. In today's technologically advanced world, coding is a skill that helps all students prepare to be college and career ready. Having a Code-a-Pillar, Code-a-Pillar expansion pack, sights and sounds pack, iPad 4 mini, batteries, iPad screen protector and OSMO Coding Awbie Game will allow my students to experience coding first hand.
These products will allow my students to engage with technology through hands on learning.
This will allow my students to learn coding in a simple and direct way . After learning on the code-a-pillar, students will be able to transfer their knowledge of coding to the OSMO coding Awbie Game program on the iPad. This is where they will put their coding skills to work.
