Piedmont Grammar Greats
My students need this dynamic Language Arts extra practice website to master grammar skills.
Children want to be dynamic learners. Our students have not had the chance to discover this new type of learning.
The majority of my 5th grade students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
Their families are struggling with being able to provide basic necessities in their daily lives. Seventy percent of our students are receiving free and reduced-priced lunches, but our school system has implemented a 1:1 MacBook initiative which provides these students with many opportunities.
In our small rural town in Alabama, we have experienced many industries and small hometown businesses closing. At this time our town cannot offer incentives to industries or encourage small hometown businesses to take root in our town.
Implementation of IXL Language Arts and Math will be provide extra practice and actively engage our students in a curriculum that in turn can bring a positive effect on these future citizens of our town.
Although these students are from a privileged school, they are still at risk of being left behind.
Access to these programs will allow the students to gain knowledge, momentum and drive to be successful in school as well as daily life.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
