This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This will be our schools first full year back since COVID-19 made schools shut down. Two years ago students didn't even get to say goodbye to their friends or favorite teachers because schools were shut down out of nowhere. No one thought COVID would take our sense of reality away. My students have worked hard through out the school year to learn, catch up on social skills, and feel normal again. I want to give my students their own personal photo album with pictures filled of our classroom, their friends, teachers, and school. I want my students to go home for summer with an album full of pictures of this amazing school year, and space for them to add more. When a student of mine is having a rough day at home, I want them to be able to open the album and reminisce on the fun and learning we did this school year.
