My students are a group of intelligent, amazing, fifth graders, who are enthusiastic about reading, learning and making education come to life.
They are the future of our world and I want to provide them with the best education I can.
My students are a diverse group of learners, each bringing their own personality and challenges to the classroom. My hope is to provide an education that is capable of reaching each student at his or her potential, and help fill the gaps wherever necessary. They are an incredible group of learners, but let's help them become a better version of themselves!
My Project
Help my students memorialize their fifth grade year by purchasing a FujiFilm Instant Camera! This is such an important year for my students. Many of them go on to different middle schools than their friends. I would love for them to have a way to save all these wonderful memories they are going to have. The kit comes with film, stickers and a photo album that my students can use to create their fifth grade memory book.
Not only will this camera serve as a memory saver, but can spark creative writing!
Students can go around and take pictures of objects or people that inspire them to write. They can create a narrative based on the picture they take, research a particular object or creature they capture, or write opinions on cafeteria food or school rules. This would be such an inspiration creator for my students!
It also taps into the Arts! This could spark a students' interest in photography and they could pursue it in the future!
