My Students
My students are energetic first graders, who love coming to school to learn! They love technology and everything to do with it. I try using it as much as I can to promote their enthusiasm about learning. I love seeing them come in every morning with their smiles that show how eager they are to learn. My students come from a great community! Even while a majority of the students receive free and reduced lunch at our school, the student's excitement for school is all the same.
My Project
In first grade, my students are really learning how to be independent workers. A document camera would help me to model exactly how they should do their work and what the end product should look like. This would help the students learn to be successful independent workers.
Monkey see, Monkey do!
Having a document camera would help all of my students to be successful learners in the classroom. I would use the document camera daily to teach multiple subject areas. By the end of the school year I could see my students using the document camera to show their work and be models for the class as well! Having a document camera would promote the student growth overall in my classroom.
