Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are eager learners that love to express their creativity through visual arts. Creating memories through artifacts they made is a joy to them because they have somethings to be proud of.

"There are no mistakes in art" is the most wonderful thing I could have told my students.

Decreasing the stress of their level of creativity increases effort in the assignments.

My students look forward to the art display each year and this year it should be even better.

My Project

The students will capture moments with Canon PowerShot ELPH 180 to bring back into the classroom to create artworks. We will have a student led newsletter to assist with increasing positive behavior by publishing great things happening around the school including sports and PTA functions.

The "Picture Perfect" project will allow the students to make lasting memories among peers.

We will have great classroom discussions while viewing the captured pictures on the classroom projector.

I know the visual learners will love dissecting their captured moments as well as their peers. The selected students that will be working on the school's newsletter will really enjoy being able to capture priceless moments around the school at their selected times.
