My Students
I have so many students in my class who love to read! Between the students who spend most of their time in my classroom and the students who come to my classroom for reading intervention, there are about 50 students each day looking for books on my shelves.
I want to continue to foster their love for reading by offering them as many books as I can! I want to encourage their independent reading as well as give them life lessons through the use of valuable picture books. There is so much to be learned from reading beyond just reading each word.
My Project
I can use these resources to teach a variety of social skills students need to be successful learners and citizens. I want my students to feel and empowered, confident, and prepared when it comes to the real world. Reading about the success of others or learning about these skills will help develop a strong foundation.
My students love to read and are always looking for new titles on our bookshelves. I love to provide them with as many opportunities to read as possible! In order to meet the needs of all the students in my classroom, having a wide variety of text levels, genres, and types of texts as possible.
