Help me give my students the equipment to play pickleball. The fastest growing sport is a welcome addition to our PE curriculum.

My Students

I teach students in middle grades six through eight. My students work hard in school to make good grades. They value education and encourage each other to perform to their highest potential.

The majority of my students are from an active military family which helps them to adapt to changes very well.

My students come from all over the United States and are very accepting to new students which helps them make the transition to a new school so much easier. Our class motto is "Today my job is to be better today than I was yesterday".

My Project

My students will have the opportunity to participate in one of the fastest growing sports. Pickleball has taken the world by storm and is a great way to exercise and socialize.

Pickleball is a lifetime sport that our students can play well beyond school in fact it is the fastest growing sport among seniors.

This sport can help bridge the gap and bring multiple generations together for fun. The students will learn the skills and strategies necessary to be successful at the game. The students will learn how to serve, volley, lob, and of course dink. They will apply these strategies in games.
