Mrs. Hoyt from Long Beach CA is requesting Flexible Seating through DonorsChoose, the #1 classroom funding site for teachers.

Pick A Seat, We're Flexible!

My students need flexible seating choices! By having furniture that can be moved BY THEM and to where THEY WANT TO SIT will increase their interest in being more productive with THEIR WORK.

My Students

My students are my heroes! They inspire me daily to be the best teacher that I can and they are so deserving of. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are inspirations to themselves and everyone they meet! They are flexible, spontaneous, outgoing and reserved, quiet and shy, all mixed in our room!

They are our future and I want to give them everything I can to help them continue their education and build upon their successful academic career.

My Project

I have a class of 30 third graders who love learning together. We might sit on the floor or move our chairs all around the room, and sometimes we even stand while working at our desks. The bottom line is my students like to be productive and comfortable in my room. I want my learners to have options and flexibility while working in my room.

I would like to have more flexibility with my classroom seating this year and am requesting new stools for my students!

I am hoping to provide my students with more options as they work independently or with their partner. Need to find a better, more comfortable seat? I can do that, go grab a seat!
