Each and every student learns in their own unique way.
They make meaning of new information and find understanding through a multi-sensory approach to learning. My children are active, energetic, funny, and eager to learn. I love providing them with different avenues to explore their new material.
In the early childhood classroom, play and the opportunity to express their creativity is an essential part to their growth and development. Through this the students learn and grow in not only their early academics but also their social skills, and learn how to follow different routines. It is amazing to watch my little learners explore and discover new things in the classroom while they play!
My Project
In my classroom I believe, like Pablo Picasso said, "Every child is an Artist." In order to create the opportunity for my students to make their masterpieces we need new art supplies!

I want my students to get messy, to create whatever their minds can come up with! It is important to have materials that will spark that creativity in them to make artwork they can be proud of!
Painting with brushes or fingers will increase their fine motor skills as well as their imaginations. Making a collage to take home out of different materials from the art storage bin will enhance their artwork as well as working on their patience. Having fun and learning while working on an Art project is fundamental to Early development.
