Help me give my students get the chance to perform and fall in love with music. Please do not let the lack of quality instrument prevent them from being their best!

Our high school band students are a diverse group of musicians located in a rural county, attending a Title One school. Most students come from low-income backgrounds with very few from medium-income backgrounds. Although the school and the district do as much as they can to help, sadly, it's still not enough. Our students are surrounded by bad opportunities so when there is a chance for them to excel in a positive atmosphere, we want to make sure they have all the tools needed to do so. Our kids love playing music but without instruments and the proper equipment, it's impossible for them to continue their love of music throughout their high school careers.
Two Piano classes are taught a year here at our school. The only problem is that we are short on working keyboards. The keyboards we currently use were purchased 20 years ago and were not properly maintained. Our goal is to acquire at least three new working keyboards so that in time, we may replace the class set and each student will be able to perform on a quality instrument.
Students who have taken a music class such as piano, demonstrate increased diligence and responsibility, increased concentration and higher self esteem.
The lack of quality instruments should not prevent any student from gaining these necessary life skills. Piano class is a creative and judgement free zone where students are encouraged to think outside of the box and allow their creative thoughts to come to life.
