I teach 16 wonderful junior and senior high school students physics in a low-income, rural Washington community.

This is the first year that my school has taught a physics class in over 20 years! After requests by students, we added the class, but have no lab supplies! In a school where only 5-7% of the graduating class go directly to a university, I want to enhance the feeling of success and college readiness so I can change that number.

A dynamics track and cart would be an incredibly useful tool in our classroom. We will be able to use this cart for a variety of lab experiments.

My students are wonderful. They make me smile every day. I want them to have every opportunity that students in larger schools with well equipped labs have. I truly believe that lab equipment, such as a Vernier Dynamics Track, can enhance the confidence of my students and get them on the right track for a successful future!
