My students need materials of all kinds to have success during the school day. They need playground balls to ensure interactive play and movement, as well as folders, notebooks, markers, and other project supplies.
I teach children who come from many different parts of the world. China, India, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, and Japan, are just a few of the countries whose cultures fill our classroom. Culture is very important to the families I work with. My students benefit from the ability read and write, then demonstrate their learning through art.
Students need to develop in every aspect of life: mentally, emotionally, and physically.

My Project
The use of playground balls is a daily ritual for my students, especially with the importance placed on health and staying active these days. Healthy physical development is key to academic success. Using folders and notebooks helps keep the students organized when they are doing their reading, writing, and research work. It is important that the students have markers to follow up all their hard work with an art project to support their writing.
Children need to grow physically, mentally, and academically to develop in a healthy manner.
So, we are asking for supplies that touch on every aspect of growth so that our students are well rounded people.
