I am the Physical Education instructor at my school as well as the head football coach. My students are some of the best kids you'd ever want to meet. Given their circumstances at home, be it that they are a product of a low income community, their attitudes and desires to be productive citizens would never display their disadvantages.
They never complain and are always looking to please their teachers and coaches.
I hope this inspires someone to help these wonderful kids.
My Project
Theses materials that we are requesting for my students will lead us to the next stage of our program. I know exactly how and where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything here on campus! The iPad will be used to track each student's progress and daily workout as well as allow me updated equipment that is compatible with the newer technology. Each day we warm-up using a make shift agility ladder that we've created by taping / panting lines on the floor. The clamps will compliment the weights we currently have in the weight room and allow more students to be active at the same time. We currently have to share stations at a much higher rate since we are limited in the proper equipment in our weight room / gym. All of these things allow the process to run so much more smoothly from day to day.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and boost their desire to live healthier lives by being ore active and taking a stance on physical and mental health.
Along with making or time with each other much more efficient and productive.
