My Project

This strength training equipment will allow for a more robust Physical Education curriculum. Our school Fitness Room is a place that students want to be, but it currently lacks options for teaching the kids about the how to incorporate strength training to improve overall wellness.

One primary benefit of strength training is an improvement in mental health - and as we are seeing, the pandemic wreaked havoc on the mental health of kids.

The addition of this equipment will allow us to offer additional PE course options that teach about strength training as a lifelong physical activity option, and the benefits that it will have on the physical and mental health of our students.
