HELP US STAY FIT!!!! Our gym equipment has run away! We have very few things to play with. The students have no jump ropes and "square" hula hoops!!! Not so easy for spinning!!! We also need a cd player so maybe I can teach these kids to dance!!
Our students are in a city school, so it is very important for them to have gym equipment.
The students have me once a week for 45 minutes, and for some of them, this is their only physical activity for the week. I would like to make their experience as fun as possible.
My Project
These resources will change my students' lives for the better by teaching them activities to be physically fit and inspire them to be more active every day. We need basic items, balls, jump ropes,and hula hoops. I have asked for footballs, soccer balls, and playground balls to give the children the basic skills for different games.
You will make a difference by providing the students with equipment that will inspire them to get up and be active.
With childhood obesity on the rise, I hope that we can promote a life long love for a healthy lifestyle.
