Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am currently a second grade teacher who teaches at an inner city school. The majority of my students receive free or reduced lunch so in this community there is a high-need for resources.

Our staff was informed this year that our current physical education teacher would not return this year and that we would not have anyone to replace him. I would really like to have the opportunity to inspire my students and teach them fun and motivating physical education games myself.

With the donation of the physical education equipment all of my students will be able to participate in the games, warm ups, and drills. They will be able to participate at the same time instead of waiting for their turn because of lack of equipment. It is very frustrating just having one ball for 20 students. My goal is to have them love being physically fit. I need them to have fun and keep them moving. There are too many obese students at my school site.

You will make it possible for my students to have an excellent physical education program. You will help them learn the importance of being physically fit. My activity lesson plans are ready!! I cant' wait!! THANK YOU
