Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Photography encourages children to think creatively and see the world from different perspectives. Photography will allow students to produce substantial stories that drive change in the effort to make the world a better place. It will significantly boost their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.
This project will enable students to encourage the betterment of humanity through editorially-based imagery of themes including human unrest, famine, disease, politics, war, uprisings, injustice, and triumph.
Students will learn to frame shots, experiment with lighting, and find unique angles to tell a visual story. This project will foster and expand on critical thinking skills that benefit them in various aspects of life, from problem-solving to artistic expression.
