There is a Chinese proverb that states, "Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere." My students are wide-eyed fifth and sixth graders from a variety of backgrounds who are eager to learn and experience the world for themselves. In a Careers in Technology classroom, we will be exploring a variety of technology-related topics that are of interest to students.
My students desire to grow and learn to be the best that they can.
Providing them with proper educational materials will pave the way for their success.
My Project
These students are outgoing, creative, and eager to publish a yearbook that captures the fun and memories of this formative year in their lives.
We need your help to make it happen!
Our hope is to tell our story through photography that captures what we see through the lens of our eyes. Students in our school Yearbook Club need a digital camera to take and preserve photographs for use in our annual school yearbook publication. A digital camera will allow us to provide students with the technology necessary to produce and publish the yearbook. Students will learn the basics of photography and operating a camera, and they will learn to upload their photos for inclusion in the yearbook. Students will also be able to learn graphic design techniques, and they will become familiar with photo editing programs.
Students have a unique perspective on the world.
A donation of a digital camera will allow my students to capture their perspective, enhance their talents, and preserve memories for years to come.
